Frequently Asked Questions

Q&A with frequent questions.

On our guided tour, we pass by all the famous buildings and places in the historic center of the city. In Brussels this includes the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Grand and Small Sablon, Palace of Justice, Place Royale, etc. (but not the Atomium because it is too far from the center). For Ghent this includes St. Baafs Cathedral, De Krook library, Korenlei and Graslei, the Gravensteen and Rabot.

Our tours are available in Dutch, French and English.

No, this is not possible, they are always guided tours with a guide.

No, this is not possible as this is not possible because of the timing of the tour (2 hours or 1 hour time) and we have several consecutive tours per day with a fixed departure time. Also because of practical reasons this is not possible (e.g. problem to park segways).

Yes, this is possible, from the age of 12, provided that the children or teens involved clearly demonstrate during the “segway initiation” prior to the segway tour, that they can ride it in a safe and responsible manner.

Yes, the maximum weight is 115 kg and and the required minimum weight is 40 kg (very important especially for children, because under 40 kg it is not safe)!

The maximum number of participants in a segway tour is 20 people, this is because of practical and especially safety reasons. Since we are driving in the busy city center and we also encounter traffic lights and intersections, the group cannot be larger than 20 pax. If a group consists of 30 people, we can split into 2 groups of 15, but at a different time of day (as we have 1 guide). The minimum number of participants for a segway tour is 6 people in Brussels and 8 people in Ghent. So it may be that we put you as a couple (2 people) together with other clients to get at least 6 participants so that a segway tour can take place. We do not have private tours available, but do arrange special slots for companies and team building tours.

A reservation should be made via mail or the request form, and then a “payment link” can be sent if desiredl (via MOLLIE) for online payment by bank card. There is also the possibility to pay the tour with cash on the spot before the tour starts, to the guide. For companies and ‘events / team building’, payment by invoice is of course also possible.

For Brussels, this is at our office, located ‘Rue du Marché au Charbon / Kolenmarktstraat’ nr 1, and that is near the Grand Place, behind Brussels City Hall, at the back of hotel Amigo. For Ghent, this is at ‘Baudelopark’, Koning Willem I – kaai, near brewery Gruut.

The 1-hour time tour is at 40 Euro per person and the 2-hour time tour is at 55 Euro per person. Please note, for large groups and companies other rates may apply, and we will make a specific offer.
